Final Cut Pro

Final Cut Pro

Today we learnt the basics of how to use Final Cut Pro to later develop our trailers. Our next assaignment we will be given a film of a certain genre and with use of Final Cut Pro we shall create a trailer out of our film but change it’s genre. Final Cut Pro is a more advance version of iMovie which gives you more control over everything single component you can think of, thus creating better films.

What we have learned so far;

-Timeline = Project
-Media = event
-Every time you open Final cut you must always open your library, thus it’s really easy to drag your footage into one library when you have multiple open
-Never drag your footage from a sim card into your library
-Always copy to library
-Make a backup of your footage before copying it to library
